PEPTIDE 8.2 Anti-Aging Research Cream

PEPTIDE 8.2 is a formulated topical preparation rather than a single compound. Its research interest lies in the delivery problem: peptides applied to intact skin must cross the stratum corneum, a barrier that excludes most molecules above roughly 500 daltons, and formulation chemistry is what determines whether an active reaches the viable epidermis at all.

Topical peptide research generally distinguishes three functional classes: signal peptides that upregulate matrix protein synthesis, carrier peptides that deliver trace metals such as copper to enzymatic sites, and neurotransmitter-inhibiting peptides that act at the neuromuscular junction. • Formulation dependence. Reported outcomes for topical peptide preparations depend heavily on vehicle, concentration and occlusion, which limits comparison between studies using different formulations.
